i’ve found myself enthralled with hands from the very beginning of my ceramic journey. how they’re shaped, what they carry, what they release, the way they move. at first they were mere adornments for vessels, but as my practice has evolved they’ve become functional. i’m always curious how they’ll interact as a sculptural piece on a thrown form, what shapes they’ll make, and how much they’re willing to hold.
